The Press Room

A nod to The Daily Picayune newspaper and the building’s namesake — the paper’s first female publisher, Eliza Jane Nicholson — The Press Room is our library-meets-lobby lounge. Here, you can mingle with other guests and locals over happy hour cocktails and small snacks or tackle your to-do list in an inspired setting.

At The Press Room, the longer you linger in one of our leather or velvet chairs, the more details you’ll discover, from antique typewriters and books to architectural flourishes like original brick arches, a marble fireplace, and custom brass lighting.

Please note: The Press Room will open at 4pm from January 6 to 8.
